ORDINANCE NO. 609 AN ORDIN~NCE AMENDING TITLE 16 ENTITLED "SUBDIVISIONS" BY CHANGING THE REQUIRE- MENTS FOR THE FINAL PLAT, CHANGING THE SPECIFICATION FOR STREET TREES AND ADDING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF MAIL BOXES. WHEREAS, the City staff has reviewed the existing subdivi- sion ordinances and determined that certain modifications should be made; and, WHEREAS, the proposed modifications have been presented to, and approved by the Planning Commission. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: SECTION 1. Section 16.12.080 of Title 16 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. The following section is hereby added to Title 16, Chapter 16.12 of the Louisville Municipal Code: 16.12.080 Final plat - Form. The final plat shall be drawn at a scale ~f o~e inch equals one hundred feet on mylar sheets 24"x36" ln Slze. If it is necessary to place a plat on more than one sheet, an index map shall be included on the first sheet. Two sets of the final plat shall be submitted to the City for recording with the County Clerk and Recorder as well as one mylar re- duction of the plat at a scale of one inch equals five hun- dred feet. All mylars shall be ink originals or exact photographic reproductions of ink originals. SECTION 3. Subsection (H) of Section 16.20.020 of Title 16 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. SECTION 4. The following Subsections are hereby added to Section 16.20.020 of Title 16, Chapter 16.20 of the Louisville Municipal Code: H. Street trees as follows: 1. Two street trees shall be provided in all subdivi- sions for each lot of seventy feet of frontage or less, and at least one additional tree shall be pro- vided for every thirty-five feet or portion thereof in excess of seventy feet of frontage. For corner lots at least two trees shall be required for each street. 2. The subdivider shall contract with a nursery to is- sue redeemable certificates for tree purchase to property purchasers. a. Said c,ertificate shall remain valid for eight months from date of issuance. b. The value of said certificate shall be sufficient to allow for the purchase of one and one-half inch caliper deciduous trees. Said value shall be approved by the City Administrator. c. Said certificate shall be issued to the purchaser immediately upon closing of the purchase.
