Any damages which are allowed or awarded to any abutting <br />owner by reason of establishment of the pedestrian mall shall'be <br />paid by the general funds of the City. At the time of this <br />Resolution, it is not anticipated than any such damages will be <br />allowed or awarded. <br />7. Upon completion of the hearing, the City Council will <br />consider a resolution and ordinance to establish the proposed <br />pedestrian mall. <br />8. Any person owning or having any legal or equitable <br />interest in any real property which might suffer legal damage by <br />reason of the establishment of the proposed pedestrian mall shall <br />file a written claim of damages, if any damages are to be <br />considered or allowed, with the City Clerk at any time prior to <br />first reading of the ordinance establishing the pedestrian mall. <br />9. In connection with the establishment of the proposed <br />pedestrian mall, there are proposed improvements which are to be <br />constructed by the City and contractors retained by the City.
