PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA

Bill Francis, 611 Saint Andrews Lane, a Board Member of the Coal Creek Ranch
Master's Association, stated that the residents of the subdivision are disturbed by the
noise coming from the Compressor Station located on Dillon Road. He stated that over
the past three years he has been unsuccessful in dealing with Public Service. He stated
that in the winter of 1998, he toured the facility and Public Service said that they would
make some changes. Because changes were not made, in the winter of 1999 he contacted
Boulder County, relative to the Noise Code, which is enforced by the Boulder County
Sheriff. The Sheriff's Department ran a test during a day that was not particularly cold,
and the noise was within the acceptable level. He again contacted Public Service relative
to the noise and nothing was done. He called the Sheriff's Department to run another
test, and as a result of the noise, Public Service was to have contacted him, but to date,
they have not. He contacted the City and asked for help and was told that they did not
have jurisdiction. Mr. Francis asked the City to help in dealing with Public Service.

Davidson stated that the City would contact the County and insist that the Boulder
County Noise Regulations be enforced.

Mayer asked the City Administrator to investigate and send a letter to the County, and a
copy to Public Service.

Tony Pasquini, stated that he recently purchased Colacci's Restaurant, at 816 Main
Street, and he introduced himself and his sister Melinda, to the Council. He stated that he
owns a neighborhood restaurant in Denver called Pasquini's Pizzeria, and looks forward
to opening a similar restaurant in Louisville. He asked if the Council had any questions
about the restaurant.

Davidson welcomed them to Louisville

Brown stated that he was familiar with the restaurant in Denver, and asked when they
planned to open.

Mr. Pasquini stated that he hoped to open sometime in March. He also stated that
the restaurant will be a family establishment with affordable prices, and that his sister
will be the manager. He stated that many people have asked him what he will do with the
Colacci's sign. He asked for direction on the final disposition of the sign.

Davidson suggested that he contact the Louisville Historical Commission to see if they
are interested in the sign for historical purposes.

Howard thanked Mr. Pasquini for coming before the Council and introducing himself and
his restaurant.

ORDINANCE NO. 1316, SERIES 1999 - AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY
REFERENCE THE 1997 EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL PLUMBING

2
