<br />any rule or regulation promulgated under this section shall be deemed a <br /> <br />violation of this Code. <br /> <br />37-3 Duties of City Administrator <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of the City Administrator <br /> <br />or persons appointed by him to assure that the rules and regulations governing <br /> <br />the cemetery are followed and adhered to. <br /> <br />37-4 Map and Records of Cemeter~Burial Permits It shall be the duty of <br /> <br />the City Administrator to keep a. map and the records of the cemetery and issue <br /> <br />required permits. No permits shall be issued without the name and address of <br /> <br />the lot owner and the lot and block number for which application is made. Burial <br /> <br />permits shall be addressed to the City Administrator giving the lot and block <br /> <br /> <br />number for burial. The City Adrrlinistrator shall require application for all <br /> <br />burial permits to be made beforE~ the funeral. <br /> <br /> <br />37-5 Applications for Burial Spaces; Contract for Sale of Space Applications <br /> <br /> <br />for the purchase of burial spacE~s shall contain a description of the space, <br /> <br /> <br />purchase price and method of pa)~ent, and when executed by the purchaser and the <br /> <br />City it shall become a binding contract of purchase and sale. Upon payment <br /> <br />of the full purchase price to the City, a Certificate of Purchase by the City, <br /> <br />executed by the Mayor conveying the space free and clear of all encumbrances <br /> <br />shall be executed and delivered to purchaser. All Certificates of Purchase <br /> <br />shall grant to the lot owner or owners the rights to use such lots for burial <br /> <br />purposes only, subject to this ordinance and the Rules and Regulations adopted <br /> <br />by the City Council. <br />37-6 Price of Spaces The salE~ price of grave spaces, including perpetual <br /> <br />care of all spaces shall be govE~rned by the rules and regulations of the <br /> <br />cemetery. <br /> <br />37-7 Transfer, Assignment or Conveyance of Property Right in Cemetery No <br /> <br />transfer, assignment or conveyance of any property right or interest in the <br /> <br />City cemetery shall be valid without the consent in writing of the City. The <br /> <br />City shall not consent to the transfer of any property right or interest in <br /> <br />the City cemetery upon which thlare is any indebtedness due the City. <br /> <br />37-8 Selling Lots or Spaces for Resale No lot or space shall be sold to or <br /> <br />purchased by a funeral director or other persons for purposes of resale or <br /> <br />speculation. <br /> <br />37-9 When Rights and Interest in Lot or Space Revert to City <br /> <br />In the event a <br /> <br />-2- <br />
