The place of measurement shall be at the point of <br /> <br />discharge into the public main. <br /> <br />Total Chromium as CR <br /> <br />Chromium .......................... .......... 1/8 lb. per hr. <br />Cyanide as Cn ..... .... .............. ........ 1/8 lb. per hr. <br />Copper as Cu .. ....................... ....... 1/8 lb. per hr. <br />Nickel as Ni ... ... ......... .... ............. 1/8 lb. per hr. <br />Cadmium as Cd ..... .............. .... ........ 1/8 lb. per hr. <br />Zinc as Zn .. ............. ............... .... 1/2 lb. per hr. <br />Iron as Fe .. ... ............................. 7-1/2 lb. per hr. <br />Lead as Pb .................... ...... ........ .05 lb. per hr. <br /> <br />(18) The admission into the public sanitary sewers of any <br /> <br />waters or wastes having an. average daily flow greater than 2 per cent <br /> <br />of the average daily sewage flow of the City or which are discharged <br /> <br />at a rate exceeding 1000 gallons per minute at anyone time shall be <br /> <br />subject to review to determine if such waste shall be approved or <br /> <br />rejected or whether modification of the quantities and rates of discharge <br /> <br />may be required. <br /> <br />(19) Any storm \vaters into the sanitary sewer system, provided, <br /> <br />however, that residences \vhich presently are in violation of this section <br /> <br />shall have 120 days after it is adopted to comply. <br /> <br />(20) Any waste in which the concentration of suspended solids <br /> <br />or BOD is greater than normal sewage shall be cause for special review <br /> <br />and determination as to whether pretreatment is necessary at its source <br /> <br />or whether the waste may be accepted as is with a surcharge being levied <br /> <br />which shall be in addition to the sewage service charge, or whether both <br /> <br />pretreatment and surcharge will be required. "Normal" sewage will be <br /> <br />required. "Normal" sewage shall be defined as having BOD of 300 ppm and <br /> <br />a suspended solids content of 350 ppm. <br /> <br />(21) Any clear waters into the sanitary sewer system from <br /> <br />underground drains, sump pump discharge lines or natural springs and <br /> <br />seeps. <br /> <br />-4- <br />
