<br />ORDINANCE NO. _t.-/ /f '7 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 402 RELATING TO SEWER TAP FEES <br />WHEREBY THE FEE SHALL BE $800.00 PER UNIT IN LIEU OF $600.00 PER UNIT. <br /> <br />THAT WHEREAS, because of the increased costs in the construction <br /> <br />and operation of sewer faci"'ities, it has now become necessary to increase <br /> <br />~he tap fees from $600.00 per unit to $800.00 per unit. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLC3RADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the following Section of Ordinance No. 402 is hereby <br />amended~to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2. I~Fee: Upon payment of the tap fee, <br />the owner remalns responsible for all labor and excavation <br />in connection with the installation of the sewer tap. <br />The City shall do all necessary inspection and the <br />Director of Public Works shall cause such inspection <br />to be made to determine that all of the work performed <br />is in accordance with the National Plumbing Code. <br /> <br />The tap fee shall be computed as follows: <br /> <br />1. Residenti,a 1 <br /> <br />Single lFamily <br />Multipll~ Family <br /> <br />Mobile Home Park <br /> <br />$800.00 per unit <br />800.00 first unit <br />800.00 each additional unit <br />800.00 first unit <br />800.00 each additional unit <br /> <br />II. Commercia"' <br /> <br />1. MotE~ls, apartment <br />houses, hotels and <br />othE~r commerci a lly <br />operated rental units <br /> <br />800.00 per unit <br />800.00 each additional unit <br /> <br />2. Shops, stores, schools <br />industrial plants, ser- <br />vice stations, car <br />washes, restaurants and <br />like commercial and in- <br />dustrial uses. <br /> <br />The tap fee shall be 1/2 of <br />the water tap fee as computed <br />by the Water Works Ordinance <br />currently in effect without <br />regard to that portion of <br />the tap fee that relates to <br />automatic fire protection. <br />The minimum tap fee in any <br />event shall be $800.00. <br /> <br />3. IndUlstd a 1 Waste <br /> <br />The City of Louisville reserves <br />the right to negotiate tap <br />fees where a commercial user <br />proposes to dump sewage into <br />the Municipal Sewer System <br />which will exceed the safe <br />chemical limits of content <br />established by the Louisville <br />City Engineer or will otherwise <br />create special treatment problems <br />due to chemical content of the <br />sewage. <br /> <br />'". <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />f \\~~~ <br />
