<br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 465 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 456 WHICH ORDINANCE <br />PROVIDED FOR FLOOD PLAINS REGULATIONS BY CHANGING SEC- <br />TION 4.52 (2). <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. That Section 4.52 (2) of Ordinance No. 456 of the <br /> <br />City of Louisville, Colorado is hereby amended from: <br /> <br />liThe first floor, or basement floor of any structure to <br />be erected, constructed, re-constructed, or moved on <br />the flood plain shall be constructed on fill at or above <br />a point two (2) feet above the 100 year flood elevation <br />for the particular area and the fill shall extend at such <br />elevation at least fifteen (15) feet beyond the limits of <br />any structure or buil di ng erected thereon. II <br /> <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />liThe lowest flooY' (including basement floor) of any <br />structure to be erected, constructed, re-constructed, <br />or moved on the flood plain shall be constructed on fill <br />at or above a point two (2) feet above the 100 year flood <br />elevation for the particular area and the fill shall <br />extend at such elevation at least fifteen (15) feet beyond <br />the limits of any structure or building erected thereon. <br /> <br />Section 2: That an emergency exists for the passage of this Ordinance <br /> <br />in that the City of Louisviille may lose its eligibility for flood insurance <br /> <br />and therefore the City Council of Louisville finds and determines that <br /> <br />the adoption of this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation <br /> <br />of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the <br /> <br />City of Louisville and that this Ordinance shall be effective as the law <br /> <br />provides after adoption and publication. <br />Introduced, read and ordered published this Id/~day of February, 1975. <br />Passed and adopted on second and final reading this /8'J-Lday of March, <br /> <br />1975. <br /> <br />'~ <br />i ....ItJ( , / '/ / ~Wr~LJ <br />\ /1 ayor <br />,/ <br /> <br />:zr: / <br />.. ~~~11U 't.
