<br />/" <br /> <br />magistrate, securing a Wclrrant for the arrest of offenders when desirable. <br />(5) They shall eXE!Cute and return all writs and process to them <br />directed by the municipall judge, in any case arising under a city ordinance, <br />and they may serve the same in any part of the county in which such <br />city is situate. <br />(6) They shall observe the condition of the streets and alleys <br /> <br />of the city, and of any obstruciton, nuisance, or impediments therein, <br />and shall take necessary measures to remove or abate the same. <br />8.4 Oath and Bond" Before entering upon the duties of this office, <br />each police officer shalll take and subscribed the oath or affirmation <br />provided for in section 4.13 of this Code and shall execute a surety <br />bond to the city in the amount to be determined by the city council <br />to be approved and paid for by the council, conditioned upon the faithful <br />performance of the duties of his office. <br />8.5 Uniforms. Every police officer shall furnish and wear at all <br />time while on duty, a un1iform of the type and quality prescribed by the <br />police chief. <br />8.6 Duty of CitizEms to Aid. It shall be the duty of all persons, <br />when called upon by any police officer, to promptly aid ans assist such <br />officer in the discharge of his duties. <br />Section 2.
