<br />ORDINANCE # .516 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 6.4 AND 6.7 <br />OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO. <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Section 6.4 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The following section is hereby added to Chapter <br />6 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />Section 6.4 Annual Appropriations. <br /> <br />a) The city council shall pass an ordinance within the last <br />quarter of each fiscal year, to be termed the annual appropriation <br />bill for the next fiscal year, in which such council may appropriate <br />such sums of money as may be deemed necessary to defray all <br />necessary expenses and liabilities. <br /> <br />b) In cases of emergency caused by an act of God, the <br />pUblic enemy or some contingency which could have. not been <br />reasonably foreseen at the time of adoption of the budget, the <br />ci ty council may authori:ze the expendi ture of funds in excess <br />of the budget by ordinance or resolution duly adopted by two- <br />thirs vote of the city council. <br /> <br />SECTION J.
