An audio recording of the Board meeting is available through the Boulder County <br />Housing & Human Services office. <br />Section 8: HCV Program Report <br />a) Monthly statistics <br />Chuck said that for the month of September we had 69 housing vouchers in Louisville. We have never <br />seen it below 70 before. We were holding the issuance of additional vouchers this year and are waiting to <br />see where HUDs fiscal funding is coming from. The average cost of the housing assistant payment has <br />gone up. The resident's portion has graduated down and the HUD formula of assistance has gone up. We <br />have not issued any Housing Choice Vouchers since the beginning of this year. Our current waiting list <br />for the Section 8 Voucher program is in excess of 800. <br />Sherry said that the rental market is going up and it's going to be harder for people to find rentals. <br />Discussion of Agenda Items for next LHA board meeting: 12/13/2011 at Sunnyside Apartments. <br />December is a very important meeting and there needs to be a quorum. When the email is sent out we <br />need to request that board members make every effort to be at this meeting. <br />We need to approve financials and the budgets for 2012 and the swearing in of new members. <br />New member extended meeting orientation that is less business and more informational is in January or <br />February. We will give new board members the portfolio analysis at the December meeting. <br />Franks said if we should come back in December and discuss the plans we have with the auditors, the <br />weaknesses that they have identified, and the plan we have to address them. <br />Meeting was adjourned at 9:21 a.m. <br />* *Any member of the Public may speak on any subject not related to the agenda.
