Section 38. Stopping, Standing or Parking Prohibited in Specified pI aces: 18. On the parkway \'Jhich is that part of the street between the curb line and the sidewalk or that part of the street between curb line and property lot line. (c) Parking of Trailer Coaches Prohibited. No trailer coach which is con- structed or designed for dwelling or sleeping purposes shall be parked or permi tted to stand upon any public street or alley for a period longer than twenty-four hours, and no such trailer coach shall be used for dwelling or sleeping purposes while parked in any such place. Section 60. Metered Parking Zones. (d) Animals Prohibi ted in Metered Space. I t shall be unlawful for any person to hitch or tie any horse or other animal to any parking meter, or to leave any such animal standing in any parking meter space, regardless of whether or not the meter at such space shows a violation. Section 6. That the Model Traffic Ordinance for Colorado Municipalities is amended by addin~ subsections to the following Sections. Section ~l. Stopping, Standing, or Parking in alley. (c) No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle in any residential area when official signs are erected prohibiting parking within the entire alley or portion thereof. Section 65. Crossing at other than Crosswalks. (a) Every pedestrian crossing a roadway at any point other than wi thin a marked crosswalk or wi thin an unmarked crosswalk at an intersection shall yield the right-of-way to all vehicles upon the roadway. Section 7. That the Model Traffic Ordinance for Colorado Municipalities is amended by adding a subsection to the following section. Section 144. Other powers of Traffic Engineer. (c) Further, the traffic engineer shall have the power to complete and to amend from time to time Schedules II, III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII of this traffic ordinance after he has received a resolution of approval from the City Council and then he shall file a copy of said resolution of such completed schedules or amendments thereto with the City Clerk, Chief of Poli ce and any other officials deemed necessary under this Ordinance by the City Council and/or City Manager. Section 8. Appendix A. The penalty section of the Model Traffic Ordinance for Colorado Municipalities to be adopted and which is hereby adopted by the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado, shall read as follows: 1. It is unlawful for any person to violate any of the prov1s10ns of this Ordinance and such violations shall be punishable as set for th in Chapter 32 of the Municipal Code of the City of Louisville, entitled "Fines and Penalties" . -2-
