<br />,oRDINANCE NO. :J..5.Jl- <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTIONS 4.5 AND 4.6 OF CHAPTER 4 OF <br />THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO. <br />ENTITLED "CITY CLERK n . SALARY -- BOND, and CITY TREASURER <br />SALARY --BOND". <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the following sections of Chapter 4 of the Municipal <br />Code of the City of Louisville, Colorado, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"4.5 City Clerk - Salary - Bond. A city clerk shall be <br />elected at each general municipal election. The city clerk <br />shall receive as full compensation for his services as such <br />clerk the sum of $4,8:24.00 per annum, payable in equal semi- <br />monthly payments. Before entering upon the duties of the <br />office, the clerk shall furnish a, surety bond to be approved <br />by council, in the amount of $10,000.00, conditioned upon the <br />faithful discharge of his duties as city clerk and that when he <br />shall vacate such office he will turn over and deliver to his <br />successor all monies, books, papers, property or things belong- <br />ing to the city and remaining in his hands as such clerk. If <br />the same person should serve a,s both city clerk and city collec- <br />tor, one surety bond in the amount of $10,000.00 ma,y be given <br />to cover both positions or offices. <br /> <br />"4.6 City Treasurer - Salary - Bond. A city treasurer shall <br />be elected at each general municipal election. The city <br />treasurer shall receive as full compensation for his services <br />the sum of $125 .00 per annum, pa,yable in equal quarterly pay- <br />ments. Before entering upon the duties of his office, the <br />treasurer shall furnish a surety bond to be approved by council, <br />in the amount of $10,000.00, conditioned upon the faithful dis- <br />charge of his duties a.s city treasurer and that when he shall <br />vacate such office he will turn over and deliver to his <br />successor all monies, books, papers, property or things belong- <br />ing to the city and remaining in hi s charge a,s such treasurer. <br />(C. R. S. 1953, 139-39-1)~ <br /> <br />Section 2. This Ordinance shall be effective a,s of Janua.ry 1, 196B. <br /> <br />Section 3.
