<br />~------ ~-- <br /> <br />~-." <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 363 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 29 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, ENTITLED OFFENSES- <br />GENERAL BE AMENDED BY ADDING A NEW SECTION ENTITLED <br />"MINING AND OIL DRILLING. II <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section ,1. The following s(:ction is hereby added to Chapter 29 of the Municipal <br />Code of the City of Louisvi He, Colorado: <br /> <br />"29.31 - Mining and Oil Drilling. <br /> <br />(a) It shall be unlawful for any person, company, or corporation to mine, <br />cause to mine, for any coal or other mineral or gravel, or to drill for or <br />cause to drill for oil or gas or combination thereof, within the city limits <br />of the City of Louisville. <br /> <br />(b) In addition to the fines and penalties provided in Chapter 32 of the <br />Municipal Code of the City of Louisville, the City Council of the City of <br />Louisville, the City Attorney in and for the City of Louisville, or any <br />owner of real estate within the City of Louisville, in addition to other <br />remedies provided by law, may institute injunction, mandamus, abate- <br />ment, or any other appropriate action or proceeding to prevent, enjoin <br />or abate such mining or drilling. " <br /> <br />Section 2. That all other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances or provisions of <br />the Municipal Code of the City of Louisville in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby <br />.
