<br />installed by a licensed master plumber and bond furnished if requested by the City or <br /> <br />by authorized City personnel at the City's option, all at cost of applicant. An owner <br /> <br />may install water lines on his o~m property, provided, a valid city building permit <br /> <br />is first obtained. The water lines may not be used, however, until final approval is <br /> <br />obtained from the City Building Inspector. <br /> <br />13-1-10 Fixtures Installed by Plumber. All plumbing and plumbing fixtures, wherever <br /> <br />used, shall be of standard make and construction and shall be installed in the first <br /> <br />instance by a licensed master plumber and any plumber altering, changing or adding to <br /> <br />any plumbing, shall immediately I'eport the same to the Water Supertintendent for in- <br /> <br />spection and approval and any failure to do so shall constitute a violation of this <br /> <br />Code. An owner may install plumbing and plumbing fixtures on his own property, pro- <br /> <br />vided, a valid City building permit is first obtained. The plumbing and plumbing <br /> <br />fixtures may not be used, however, until final approval is obtained from the City <br /> <br />Building Inspector. <br /> <br />13-1-11 Additional Service or Fixtures. Should the owner or the occupant of the pre- <br /> <br />mises desire additional service or fixtures, or to apply the water for a purpose not <br /> <br />-'1 <br />~ <br /> <br />stated at the time of the original application, permission must be obtained therefor. <br /> <br />When additional fixtures are added and not reported, same shall be charged at double <br /> <br />rate for such time as said fixtures are in use, in addition to a five dollar penalty <br /> <br />for such violation to be added on to and collected with the water bill. <br /> <br />13-1-12 Decrease in Service. Any consumer who desires to discontinue the use of water <br /> <br />for any special purpose, whether for closets, bath tubs or other fixtures, must have <br /> <br />faucets removed, supply pipes to fixtures disconnected, and must file written notice <br /> <br />with the Superintendent before a reduction in rates for the next succeeding period will <br /> <br />be made. <br /> <br />13-1-13 Discontinuance of Service.. Any person who desires to discontinue the use of <br /> <br />water shall file written notice with the Superintendent and pay all current and back <br /> <br />charges for water used. <br /> <br />13-1-14 Separate Connections Required. Two (2) or more premises cannot be supplied from <br /> <br />one (1) and the same connection unless provided with separate shut off cocks located <br /> <br />at the public street right-of-way line. <br /> <br />13-1-15 Service Pipe Regulations. <br /> <br />No consumer shall be permitted to <br /> <br />-4- <br />
