<br />II <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. :3 t" <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE FOR THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC WITHIN THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 361 WHICH ADOPTS THE <br />"MODEL TRAFFIC CODE FOR COLORADO MUNICIPALITIES." <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE SEC. 1. AMENDMENTS.- Pursuant to 139-34-7 of Colorado Revised <br /> <br />Statutes 1963, Ordinance No. 361 of the City of Louisville which adopts <br /> <br />by reference the 1966 "Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities" <br /> <br />is hereby amended as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Deletions. - Sections 22-l(b), 22-5(2), 22-5(3) and 22-5(4) <br /> <br />of the Code are deleted. <br /> <br />(b) Additions. - Section 3-3(e), l6-ll(b), 20-ll(a), 20-14 and <br /> <br />23-12 (b) (9) of the Code are added to read: <br /> <br />Code Sec. 3-3. Certain vehicles to stop at all grade crossings.--(e) <br /> <br />This section shall not apply at street railway grade crossings within a <br /> <br />business or residence district. <br /> <br />Code Sec. 16-11. Drivers to exercise due care. --(b) Any pedes- <br /> <br />trian who is not wholly or partially blind and any driver of a vehicle who <br /> <br />approaches or comes in con.tact with a person who is wholly or partially <br /> <br />blind carrying a cane or \olalking stick, white or metallic in color, or <br /> <br />white tipped with red, or who is accompanied by a guide dog, shall <br /> <br />immediately come to a full stop and take such precautions before pro- <br /> <br />ceeding as may be necessary to avoid an accident or injury to the person <br /> <br />wholly or partially blind. <br /> <br />Code Sec. 20-11. Foreign matter on street or highway prohibited. <br /> <br />(a) No person shall thro\\f or deposit upon any street or highway within <br /> <br />this municipality any glass bottle, glass, stones, nails, tacks, wire, <br /> <br />cans, or any other substance likely to injure any person, animal or vehicle <br /> <br />upon said street or highway; nor shall any person dmnp, deposit, throw, <br /> <br />or leave any litter on any public or private property within this munici- <br /> <br />pality except in a receptacle or container provided for such purpose. <br />
