<br />AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE A 6 FOOT PORTION OF SOUTH STREET BETWEEN THE
<br />WEST SIDE OF LEE AVENUE AND THE EASTERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF THE
<br />COLORADO AND SOUTHERN RAILROAD, AND TO VEST TITLE THERETO IN THE
<br />OWNERS OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY AS PROVIDED BY LAW, AND DECLARING
<br />AN EMERGENCY THEREFOR.
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the following described portion of South Street lying
<br />
<br />between the West side of Lee Avenue and the Easterly right-of-way line
<br />
<br />of the Colorado and Southern Railroad, to-wit:
<br />
<br />Beginning at the ~ corner of Section 8, Township 1
<br />South, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., thence South
<br />85009' West 370.73 feet; thence South 88014' West
<br />50.00 feet to the Northeast corner of Block 1, East
<br />Louisville, according to the recorded plat thereof,
<br />the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence South 88014'
<br />West along the North boundary line of said Block 1
<br />a distance of 254.75 feet to the Northwest corner
<br />of said Block 1; thence North 1011' West 6.00 feet;
<br />thence North 88014' East 254.75 feet; thence South
<br />1011' East 6.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,
<br />
<br />be and the same is hereby vacated, and the title thereto is vested in
<br />
<br />the owners of the abutting property owners, as provided by law.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That it is hereby declared that an emergency exists and
<br />
<br />this Ordinance is deemed necessary for the immediate preservation of
<br />
<br />the public health, peace and safety and that this Ordinance shall be
<br />
<br />effective as law provides after adoption and publication.
<br />
