<br />ORDINANCE NO. ~~7 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 4.5, CHAPTER 4 of the MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO, ENTITLED "CITY CLERK-SALARY- BOND". <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the following section of Chapter 4 of the Municipal Code of <br />the City of Louisville, Colorado, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"4.5 -City Clerk - Salary - ~,ond. A city clerk shall be elected at each general <br />municipal election. The city clerk shall receive as full compensation for his <br />services as such clerk the sum of $ 7 ~()D t per annum, payable in equal <br />monthly payments. Before entering upon the duties of the office, the clerk <br />shall furnish a surety bond to be approved by council, in the amount of $10,000.00, <br />conditioned upon the faithful discharge of his duties as city clerk and that when <br />he shall vacate such office he will turn over and deliver to his successor all <br />monies, boo~ papers, property or things belonging to the city and remaining in <br />his hands as such clerk. If the same person should serve as both city clerk and <br />city collector, one surety bond in the amount of $10,000.00 may be given to cover <br />both positions or offices. <br /> <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective as of January 1, 1972. <br /> <br />Section 3. That all other ordinances or parts of ordinances or provisions of <br />the Municipal Code of the City of Louisville in conflict with this ordinance <br />are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />'!I <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Introduced, read, and ordered published this 5th day of October, 1971. <br /> <br />Passed on second and final reading this 5th day of October, 1971. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
