<br />Section 5. Sewer Line Extl~nsions: Any individual, firm or corporation, <br /> <br />desiring ar. extension of the City sewer system to serve his private property <br /> <br /> <br />shall pay the entire cost c,f extending the City sewer service to his pro- <br /> <br /> <br />perty and shall deed to the City all sewer lines and improvements necessary <br /> <br /> <br />to extend the service to his property. The City shall pay the cost of <br /> <br /> <br />any oversize pipe which the city requires to serve any individual property <br />as a result of any master ,plan which is adopted by the City for sewer ser- <br />vice within or outside of the existing City limits. All extensions shall <br />conform to City specifications. <br /> <br />In the event any user is required to extend a main, adjacent to <br /> <br />land not owned or controlled by him, the City will negotiate a repayment <br /> <br />agreement with the user'which will allow said user to recoup as much of <br /> <br />the cost of the extension between the boundary of his land and the nearest <br /> <br />properly sized City sewer main as can be agreed upon. <br /> <br />Section 6. Oversizing--Cityparticipation: If the size line required to <br /> <br />serve a subdivision or individual is smaller than the size line the City <br /> <br />wishes installed for soun<i future planning, then the City will participate <br /> <br />in the oversizing of the l?ipe from a minimum of 8" to the size the City <br /> <br />wishes to be installed. :In no event will the City participate in any <br /> <br />size pipe line required bo serve a, given subdivision or other development. <br /> <br />Section 7. Inside City Waterline Modifications: The City recognizes its <br /> <br />J <br />responsibility as relates to sewer service to existing, developed platted <br /> <br />property within the City which is already served by sewer mains and fire <br /> <br />hydrants which may be inadequate for conformance with sound engineering <br /> <br />and public safety standa.J:'ds. When necessity arises for enlarging or <br /> <br />replacing or otherwise u):lgrading the sewer system in an existing, platted, <br /> <br />developed area already sE!rved by City sewer, the improvements will be <br /> <br />made by the City of Louinville.
