<br />(16 ) <br />(17 ) <br />n~~ <br />(20 ) <br /> <br />ItJarm air heating and ventilating license <br />House and building mover's license <br />~recker's license <br />Excavating license <br />Special contractorls license <br /> <br />(b) All persons who have been previously licensed under the <br />provlslons of this division by the city to engage in the aforementioned <br />trades, jobs or contractual services, shall not be required to be examined, <br />provided however, that an persons must hold a license issued by the state, <br />if required by the state, before engaging in any trade, job or contractual <br />service within the city l"imits. <br /> <br />Sec. 22A-12. Builder1s licenses generally. <br /> <br />(a) Builder,ls license class "A". A builderls license class <br />"A" shall entitle the licEmsee to contract for and to do the work of building <br />or contracting for, or altering or adding to the structural portions of any <br />building or structure or portion thereof of types I, II, III, IV or V con- <br />struction in any and all occupancy group classification where such work requires <br />the issuance of a permit under this Code or other city ordinances. All such <br />work shall be done in accordance with the terms and proviSDns of this chapter <br />and all other city and state laws governing same. A builder's license class <br />"A" shall entitle the licEmsee to contract for and do necessary demolition <br />and wrecking work in connE~ction with the work specified herein. <br /> <br />(b) Buildet"s license class "B". A builder's license class <br />"B" shall entitle the licEmsee to contract for and to do the work of building <br />or contracting for, or altering or addition to structural portions of buildings <br />or structures or portions thereof types III, IV and V construction in the <br />following number of occupancy classifications: <br />(1) Group B, division 4 - one (1) new structure excluding <br />stadiums. <br />(2) Gt'oup F, division 2 - two (2) new structures. <br />(3) Group H, where the floor area of any structure does <br />not exceed four thousand (4,000) square feet - three <br />(3) new structures or additions. <br />(4) Group I, where the floor area of any individual <br />structure does not exceed three thousand ~,OOO) <br />square feet - five (5) new structures. <br />(5) Group J - unlimited. <br /> <br />There is no limit to number of additions, alterations, or <br />remodeling of the above listed group occupancies; provided, however, tnt <br />the total of the additions to group B-4 and group F-2 occupancies does not <br />exceed two thousand (2,000) square feet during any calendar year and the <br />total of additions to group H occupancies does not exceed six thousand <br />(6,000) square feet during any calendar year. <br />A builder's license class "B" shall entitle the licensee to <br />contract for and do the necessary demolition and wrecking work in connection <br />with the work specified herein. <br /> <br />(c) Builder's license class "C". A builder's license class <br />"C" shall entitle the licensee to contract for and to do the work of building <br />or contracting for, or altering or adding to structural portions of buildings <br />or structures or portions thereof of types III, IV and V construction in the <br />following number of occupancy classifications: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Group F, division 2 - one (1) new structure, the <br />floor area not to exceed one thousand (1,000) <br />square feet or have an occupant load of more than <br />thirty (30). <br /> <br />-3- <br />
