<br />J- <br />J <br /> <br />ORDlNANCE # 406 <br /> <br />AN ORDlNANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 27 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNI-' <br />CIPAL CODE ENTITLED "BUSINESS AND TRADES" BY REDEFINING <br />THE BUSINESS AND TRADES REQUIRING LICENSES SETTING FORTH <br />PROCEDURES FOR ISSUING LICENSES AND ENFORCEMENT FOR VIO- <br />LATIONS AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF THE <br />LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, <br />COLORADO: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Sections 27.3 through 27.13 of the Louisville Munici- <br />pal Code are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The following sections are hereby added to Chapter <br />27 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> <br />General Provisions <br /> <br />Sec. 27.3. Persons subject to licensing provisions. <br /> <br />Whenever in this Code or in any code adopted herein a <br />license is required for the maintenance, operation or conduct of any <br />business or establishment, or for doing business or engaging in any <br />activity or occupation, any person shall be subject to the requirement <br />if by himself or through an agent, employee or partner, he holds him- <br />self forth as being engaged in the business or occupation, solicits <br />patronage therefor, activelly or passi vely, or performs or attempts to <br />perform any part of such business or occupation in the city. <br /> <br />Sec. 27.4. Sfg"atures. <br /> <br />Each license or permit issued shall bear the signatures of <br />the mayor and the director of finance and the seal of the city, in the <br />absence of any specific provision to the contrary. The mayor may autho- <br />rize in writing that his signature may be affixed by the City Clerk by <br />facsimile, rubber stamp or other method.
