<br />B. Investigations. The Councilor a duly authorized committee <br />thereof, may investigate any agency and the official acts of any officer <br />or employee thereof, and may compel by subpoena, attendance and testi- <br />mony of witnesses and production of books and documents. <br /> <br />C. Surety Bonds. The Council shall require the City Administrator <br />and such other employees transacting financial business of the City to <br />furnish bonds with such surety and such amounts as the Council may deter- <br />mine. The premiums of such bonds shall be paid by the City. <br />D. Pensions and Retirements. The City Council may extend the bene- <br />fits of Federal Old Age and Survivors Insurance System (Social Security <br />Act) and amendments thereto. The City Council shall extend the benefits <br />of the Police Retirement and Disability Statutes of the State of Colo- <br />rado to qualifying employees and maintain a Board of Trustees for Po1ice- <br /> <br />men's Pension Fund, as required by law, and pay the contributions pre- <br />scribed under retirement law provisions. <br />Section 4A-2. Pay Schedule, Position Classification.
