Rule 17. The Town of Louisville resor';es the right upon <br />a reasonable notice to shut off Its mains for the purnone of <br />making repairs or extensions, or any other purpose, and no <br />claim shall be made against the Town by reason or the breaka7e <br />of any sor'ice pipe or service cock, or from any other dosage, <br />nab may result frwm shutting off the water or re:-,airin(r, ant] <br />laying or relaying ma ns, hydrants or any other connections. <br />Rule 18. A fee of Two Dollars (2.00) will be charged <br />:in all cases for turning on water, except incase of turning; <br />ws ter into the preoisos for the first time after water service <br />is established therein, or in case peemises are vacated and the <br />water has been turned off by the water department for its own <br />protection, or in case the water has been turned off because <br />of a break in the service connection or piped. <br />Rule 19. Whoever shall be himself, or by any other person <br />acting under this authority, use or take water from any part of <br />the water works aforesaid without a license or Hermit, or shall, <br />without authority from said water de,:artment, open or hitch to, <br />take out, curb box or vemoveany fire plug or hydrant, stop cock <br />valve, valve box or any other fixtures pertainint; to said water <br />1orka, or shall tamper with or damage any water meter or shall <br />let on or shut off water into or from any water pipe where ever <br />situated without authority, license or permit from the Town, shall <br />be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction therefore <br />shall be fined not less than Five dollars, nor more than fifty <br />Dollars. <br />Rule 20. All water rates shall be charged against the <br />property on which it is furnished and against the owner thereof, <br />and if from any cause any sums owin» therefore become delinquent, <br />and the water shall be turned off and in no case shall it be <br />turned on to the same property until all such delinquencies shall <br />have been paidin full. Change of ownership or occupation shall <br />not effect the application of this section. <br />Rule 21. All accounts for water shall be kept in the <br />name of the owner of the property and not in the name of any <br />tenent, and the owner only, or his legal authorized agent, shall <br />be held responsible for water rents provided that persond hold- <br />ing; under a lease may be supplied on their own account where it <br />is impracticable to keep the account in the name of the owner. <br />Rule 22. In all cases where water is shut off from a <br />consumer for violation of the rules and regulations herein set <br />forth, a forty-eight hour written notice will be given in accordance <br />with the rules and regulation of the Public Utilities Commission <br />governing water utilities in the State of Cellorado. <br />Rule 23. The Town of Louisville reserves the right to <br />refuse to suprly water, water lines or water mains to property <br />owners where the cost of such water, water lines or water mains, <br />derived there from, will be greater than the revenue. <br />Rule 24. In each and every violation of the rules and <br />regulations established) by this ordinance, the offending party <br />shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and unon conviction <br />thereof shall be fined not less than 05.00 nor more than ''v50.00. <br />Rule 25. All swimming pools, public, private or eomm- <br />orcial shall be metered, and all property upon which a swimming <br />pool is located shall be metered. <br />SECTION 8. Whenever any person shall have been convicted <br />any second time of a violation of any one or more of the <br />provisions of thAs Ordinance, the Board of Trustees may, re- <br />gerdless of any fine or thther penalty assessed or inflicted <br />against him for such second violation, order the premises and use <br />of such person metered for any future use of water on the same <br />premises by such consumer ihnless his water service has been <br />shut off for such violation, in which case same may be only <br />-g- <br />
