<br />,44t <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5' J' I <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 4, SECTION 5, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO ENTITLED lICITY CLERK - SALARY - <br />BONDlI, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN <br />CONFLICT HEREWITH. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />That Chapter 4, Section 5 of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> <br />Louisville is hereby amended to read as follows:- <br /> <br />Section 1. A city clerk shall be elected at each general municipal <br /> <br />election. The city clerk shall receive as full compensation for his services <br /> <br />as such clerk the sum of $4,300.00 per annum, payable in equal monthly pay- <br /> <br />ments. Before entering upon the duties of the office, the clerk shall furnish <br /> <br />a surety bond to be approved by council, in the amount of $10,000.00, condi- <br /> <br />tioned upon the faithful discharge of his duties as city clerk and that when <br /> <br />he shall vacate such office he will turn over and deliver to his successor <br /> <br />all monies, books, papers, property or things belonging to the City and re- <br /> <br />maining in his hands as such clerk.
