Upon approval it is the intent to add on an addition to the existing structure and add 3 more students to a total of 30. Case #07-007- UR . Staff Report of Facts and Issues: Wood provided the following summary: . A special review use (SRU) for an expansion of the existing Fairview Montessori School at 733 Jefferson Ave. . The school at 733 and 741 Jefferson Ave was approved as a SRU in August 1994 and amended in April 2003. . The operation includes an outdoor play area at the rear of the structure at 733 Jefferson Ave. . The hours of operation are limited to 10: 3 0 am to 2: 00 pm. . Parking for five (5) vehicles is provided off of the alley. . The applicant is requesting to amend the SRU to allow for a total of30 students to be located at 733 Jefferson Ave only and no longer use the space at 741 Jefferson. . The change in building usage would change the number of students from 43 students in two buildings to 30 students in one building. . The structure at 733 Jefferson will be remodeled with a 350 SF addition located on the south side of the building. The building will still maintain a side yard setback of 8 feet from the southern property boundary. . Staff reviewed the SRU criteria and stated that all five (5) criteria have been met. . Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 14, Series 2007 with one condition: A total maximum occupancy (at anyone time) of 30 students and 5 staff shall be noted on the Amended SRU plan sheet. Commission Questions: Lipton requested a clarification of the number of students that school would be able to enroll.
