Posted in City Hall, Library, Recreation Center, <br />Police and Courts Building and the City's web site and mailed to the surrounding property <br />owners on June 22, 2007. <br /> <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br />McCartney reviewed the application with the following summary: <br />. A special review use request to add approximately 700 SF of outside patio dining to <br />the rear of the property. <br />. Property is located at 809 Main St., north 1Iz of Lot 12, Block 5, Town of Louisville. <br />. Property is located adjacent to an existing residential neighborhood. <br />. There are currently two (2) employee parking spaces accessed from the alley that will <br />remain in place. The proposed improvements do not create additional building area so <br />no additional parking is required. <br />. A 6-foot high privacy fence is proposed to be located around the outside patio. <br />. The patio will not remove any existing landscaping and does not include a proposal <br />for additional landscaping. <br />. The proposal includes a request to place lighting along the fence to provide low <br />wattage illumination to the patio area. Staff is requiring those lights be turned off at <br />10: 00 PM and shall be located just below the top of the fence and be shielded and <br />downcast so no light spills outside the patio area. <br />. Staff review of the special review use criteria found that numbers 1, 4 and 5 have <br />been met. <br />. Staff recommends that criteria #2 will be met with the following condition: Hours of <br />operation for the outdoor patio shall be limited to 9 PM Sunday through Thursday, <br />and 10 PM Friday through Saturday. <br />. Staff recommends that criteria #3 will be met with the following condition: The <br />applicant must show how trash and recycling dumpsters will be accommodated on the <br />property. <br />.
