ORDINANCE NO. 1603 <br /> SERIES 2011 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE TO SET FORTH <br /> THAT CERTAIN FEES, RATES AND CHARGES WILL BE ESTABLISHED BY THE <br /> CITY MANAGER <br /> WHEREAS,Section 2.16 of the Louisville Municipal Code defines the powers and duties of <br /> the City Manager, one of which is the responsibility for the efficient administration of all <br /> departments of the city government; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the Louisville Municipal Code to provide <br /> that certain fees,rates and charges shall be authorized to be established by the City Manager or the <br /> Manager's designee. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. Section 2.16.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br /> re-letter Subsection 2.16.030.H as Subsection 2.16.030.I and to add a new subsection H, to read <br /> as follows (words to be added are underlined): <br /> • H. To establish fees for goods, services and the use facilities of the City, excluding <br /> those fees that pursuant to this Code are to be established by ordinance or resolution <br /> of the City Council. The City Manager shall set such fees in amounts that are <br /> reasonably necessary to defray the City's overall costs for such goods, services or <br /> facilities, and all fees so set by the Manager shall be published on the City website. <br /> The City Manager may in writing delegate such authority to his designee. <br /> Section 2. Section 2.20.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows (words to be deleted are in strikeout; words to be added are underlined): <br /> Sec. 2.20.030. Duties--Files furnished on demand. <br /> The city clerk shall furnish on demand certified copies of any record, ordinance or <br /> other proceeding on file in the clerk's his office upon payment to of such fees as <br /> are established by the city manager or the city clerk as the manager's designee. All <br /> such fees are to be deposited in the city treasury and to become the property of the <br /> city. <br /> Section 3.
