Louisville City Council Special Meeting
January 25,2005

IMPLEMENTATION - CHAPTER 4

Planning Director Paul Wood explained Chapter 4 is a draft, a work in process. He stated
it may not need to be a formal chapter of the plan. The intent is to discuss the barriers
that have to be removed or addressed to implement the vision stated in the
Comprehensive Plan. Although it may not have to be a formal chapter, it will have to lay
out the implementation of the plan.

DISCUSSION/DIRECTION

Mayor Sisk outlined the following schedule for the Comprehensive Plan review:
Planning Commission review - February 24,2005; City Council review/public hearing-
March 15,2005.

VanPelt asked if another draft would be available based on the public comments. It was
reported another draft plan will be submitted on February 10, with the appropriate
corrections.

Mayor Sisk thanked the consulting staff, Planning Director Paul Wood and his staff for
their diligence in the citywide comprehensive plan process.

REVISING CITY SIGN ORDINANCE/REVISING DOWNTOWN BUILDING
HEIGHT LIMIT

Planning Commission Chairperson Jeff Lipton requested authorization to work with City
Staff to revisit the City's sign ordinance and the downtown height limit. There was
Council consensus.

ADJOURNMENT

10
