He explained the financial reports over the past seven
months reflect sales tax revenues are below projection. Those projections were based on
2003 and 2004 sales tax revenue. He voiced concern for the loss of the sales tax over the
past few months, and with the two businesses closing.

City Manager Simmons reviewed the process for the proposed budget projections for
sales tax. He noted the sales tax revenue has been low for the last six months, and may
be directly tied to the opening of a new King Soopers in an adjacent municipality.

REGULAR BUSINESS

PUBLIC HEARING/REQUEST FOR AN AMENDMENT TO A FINAL PUD
DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR CENTENNIAL PAVILIONS TO AUTHORIZE AN
EXISTING NON-CONFORMING SIGN (continued from 2/1/05)

Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested public comment.

Elizabeth L. Griffin, 941 Cypress Lane, Louisville, CO stated she is a member of the
Cherrywood Home Owner's Association. She voiced her regret that LaMar's Donuts is
closing their business. She requested that any business, which would take over the
LaMar's space, would be considerate of the adjacent homes.

MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to continue the public hearing on the Amendment to the
Final PUD Development Plan for Centennial Pavilions, to authorize an existing non-
conforming sign, to March 17,2005, seconded by Council member Levihn.
