Roll call <br />vote as taken. The motion carried by a vote of 7-0. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1469, SERIES 2005 - AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE OF <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, ESTABLISHING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM <br />ON THE PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS FOR APPROVAL OF <br />REZONINGS, SPECIAL REVIEW USES, AND PCZD GENERAL <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENTS FOR NEW RESIDENTIAL <br />DEVELOPMENT LOCATED WITH THE CITY AND CREATING CERTAIN <br />EXEMPTIONS FROM THE MORATORIUM - 2nd reading - public hearing <br />(advertised Daily Camera 5/13/05) <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1469, Series 2005. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Planning Director Paul Wood explained that Ordinance No. 1469, Series 2005 <br />would establish a temporary moratorium on new residential development in the <br />City of Louisville, which would require approval of a rezoning, special review use, <br />and PCZD general development plan amendment. Ordinance No. 1450, Series <br />2004 established a temporary moratorium to allow the Citywide Comprehensive <br />Plan update to proceed to adoption to provide policy direction on the location for <br />additional residential development, the impacts of such development, and the <br />policies under which such development might occur. The temporary moratorium <br />expired on March 31,2005. Ordinance No. 1469, Series 2005 would extend the <br />temporary moratorium to August 2, 2005. <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested public comment, and <br />hearing none, closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council member Keany moved for Council approval of Ordinance No. <br />1469, Series 2005, seconded by Council member Levihn. Roll call vote was <br />taken. The motion carried by a vote of 6-0. Council member Brown was absent <br />for the vote. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE No. 1470, SERIES 2005 - AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY AND <br />DESCRIBED AS LOTS 1 THROUGH 3, BLOCK 3, LOUISVILLE OLD TOWN, <br />BEING THE EXISTING LOUISVILLE LIBRARY PROPERTY - 2nd reading - <br />public hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />
