She felt he is a very <br /> deserving member of the community. <br /> Mayor Muckle requested Council vote on one out of the six applicants. Paper ballots <br /> were voted and tallied the applicants who had three votes were: Michael Menaker and <br /> Bill Scanlon. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilor Yarnell thought the vote will continue to be a deadlock. She felt the strength <br /> of the Council is their balance. She felt both candidates are different, but each would be <br /> excellent Councilors. <br /> Mayor Muckle requested the Council vote for one out of the six applicants. Paper <br /> ballots were voted and tallied and the results were as follows: Three applicants were <br /> selected with three votes for Bill Scanlon, two votes for Anne Tengler and one vote for <br /> Michael Menaker. <br /> Mayor Muckle requested the Council vote on one of the same six applicants. Paper <br /> ballots were distributed and tallied and the results were as follows: Three votes for <br /> Barbara Butterworth, two votes for Michael Deborski and one vote for David <br /> Baumgarten. <br /> There was Council discussion relative to removing Michael Menaker and Bill Scanlon <br /> from the vote. City Attorney Light suggested that if that was City Council's desire, to <br /> consider a motion that the City Council by ballot, appoint to fill the Ward I vacancy with <br /> the nominee receiving four votes from among the following nominees: David <br /> Baumgarten, Barbara Butterworth, Michael Deborski and Anne Tengler. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved the City Council by ballot, appoint to fill the Ward I <br /> vacancy with one of the following nominees who receives four votes: David <br /> Baumgarten, Barbara.Butterworth, Michael Deborski and Anne Tengler. The vote was <br /> 5-1. Susan Loo voted no. <br /> Paper ballots were voted and tallied and the results were as follows: Three votes for <br /> • Barbara Butterworth, two votes for Michael Deborski, and one vote for Anne Tengler. <br />
