City Council <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> II December 20, 2011 <br /> Page 18 of 18 <br /> Planning Director Russ explained the City Council originally discussed this item at the <br /> October 18, 2011 City Council Meeting and asked that it be continued to December 20, <br /> 2011. He noted the last Historic Preservation Commission meeting further aided in the <br /> improvement of the resolution. Staff requested a continuance of this item to the <br /> January 3, 2012 City Council Meeting. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved to continue Resolution No. 70, Series 2011 to January <br /> 3, 2012, seconded by Councilor Loo. All were in favor. Absent: Councilor Dalton. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> City Attorney Light wished the Mayor, City Council and staff a happy holiday season. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilor Keany asked a procedural question relative to Council communications <br /> received via email containing additional information, which was not a part of the packet <br /> and not available at the meeting. City Manager Fleming apologized that the Council did <br /> not receive the information at the meeting. He had requested the information be made <br /> available, but unfortunately there was a mix-up. He stated staff will make every effort to <br /> make sure it does not happen in the future. City Attorney Light explained many of the <br /> documents he sends to the City Manager are attorney/client privilege and with Council <br /> • authorization, he could make the document public. There was Council consensus the <br /> City Attorney could make the document public. <br /> Mayor Muckle reported the estimate for the Northwest rail portion of FasTracks Project <br /> from Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF)Railway, which includes the Louisville <br /> station, is half a billion dollars higher than was originally estimated by FasTracks. He <br /> wished the citizens, Council and City Staff a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and <br /> Happy New Year. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilor Yarnell moved for adjournment, seconded by Councilor Keany.
