SALES TAX REPORTS FOR THE MONTH ENDED OCTOBER 31, 2011 The Tax Manager presented the monthly October 31, 2011 Sales Tax Reports. Councilmember Keany requested to receive a copy of the City map indicating the various revenue areas reported. Councilmember Keany also requested a monthly report by industry of the use tax receipts beginning 2012. FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDED NOVEMBER 30, 2011 The Accounting Manager presented the quarterly Financial Statements through November 30, 2011. CASH & INVESTMENTS REPORT AS OF NOVEMBER 30, 2011 The Finance Director presented the Schedule of Cash & Investments as of October 31, 2011. The schedule and corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the December 19, 2011 Finance Committee Meeting. The Finance Director provided the Committee a copy of letter received November 3, 2011 from ColoTrust announcing the end of its agreement with Cutwater Colorado Investor Services Corp., and its selection of Public Trust Advisors LLC beginning in January of 2012. The Finance Director informed the Committee that based on the changes for ColoTrust and the downgrade of US Government Securities, our investment advisor, Davidson Fixed Income Management, has adopted the most conservative investments authorized by State statute until such time as the State legislature amends statute 24-75-601.1. LIST OF BILLS The Committee was provided a List of Bills scheduled for approval at the December 20, 2011 Council Meeting. 5
