Historical Commission <br />Minutes <br />November 16, 2011 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />e) From Jeremiah Whitney, a Land Title Survey completed in 2000 showing <br />property lines in a downtown residential neighborhood where boundary lines <br />are sometimes unclear. <br />2. The Fall 2011 Louisville Historian has been mailed. It features buildings in Louisville <br />that have been relocated. <br />3. The Parade of Lights is Friday, Dec. 2 and the Museum will be open during the <br />parade. Several Commission members will volunteer at the Museum that evening. <br />4. Bridget distributed Volunteer Time Sheets and asked member to complete them and <br />bring them to the January meeting. Documenting volunteer hours can be helpful <br />when applying for grants and is tracked by the City. <br />C. Pioneer Award. <br /> The Commission unanimously voted to give George Brown the 2012 <br />Pioneer Award. Dave Ferguson will present the award at the Chamber of Commerce banquet <br />in January. <br />D. Approval of revised Commission bylaws to reflect changes made by City Council <br />. The <br />Commission approved the revised bylaws setting the Commission membership size at ten. <br />This brings the size of the Historical Commission more in line with that of other City <br />commissions. <br />E. Chairperson’s Report. <br />The Chairperson being absent, there was no report. <br />F. Thank you to Diane Marino and Sean Moynihan for the service to the Commission. <br />Vice-Chairperson Anne Robinson led the Commission in expressing our thanks to both Diane <br />and Sean for their service to the Commission. <br />G. Commission Comments and Items for the next meeting. <br />There will be no meeting in <br />December. At the January meeting officers will again be elected, which includes a <br />Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary. <br />H. Close Advisory Board Meeting and Adjourn. <br /> The Commission adjourned at 8:10. <br /> <br />
