Staff Updates <br />• Fischer Farms /Tamarisk Revised Trail Alignment. The proposed <br />trail through Fisher Farms has been moved to the East in order to <br />be further away from the homes adjacent to the trail. <br />• Staff was conilacted by Bob Finch, Professor from CU, who has <br />graduate students interested in working on a land development <br />plan, perhaps Hecla Lake. <br />X. Board Updates <br />• OSAB resolutiion regarding crosswalk for McCaslin <br />• North end property discussion regarding fire hydrant use and <br />current access to open space properties <br />XI. 2008 OSAB Goal Seti:ing <br />• Bike /Drive a:> an OSAB meeting to all current Louisville open <br />spaces and lands to be ranked <br />• Encourage Ci1:y Council to pursue the purchase of at least one <br />significant open space parcel in the next two years. <br />• Work to creatE; more connectivity with the trail system, both within <br />Louisville and with neighboring communities <br />• Have improved communications with Boulder County, Broomfield, <br />and Superior about open space issues. <br />• Continue to pt.irsue an in stream water right for Coal Creek <br />• Develop a management plan for newly acquired property <br />
