Two members of the Louisville Housing Authority were present. : The agenda was considered. informal. Kelly made the Motion to approvethe`agenda. Walt seconded the. motion.: Motion approved. Approval of the October 25, 2011 Minutes Walt made a motion to approve the October minutes. Kelly seconded the motion. . Motion approved.: Matters from Members of the`Fublic Frank .asked Jack Duffy to speak about -his involvement in Josephine Commons for the past 374 years . He talked about the fact that Louisville. is #1- on the affordable housing list He is a strong advocate for any :programs that help the poor have housing. His. thought that this is a "win -win" situation/projeet; a -win: for . the community, those who need it, and it opens up another space for someone. else to move into town, buy groceries; etc He encourages us to keep'doing what we've been doing because it's phenomenal:: Terri said we appreciate his voice backing us in the community. Our plan for the coming year is to get creative with what we have in our housing portfolio and how we improve upon it We are taking-on new . board members in 2012 and will be bringing everyone up to speed on the type of path we want to pursue in the future. The public is always welcome to our meetings. Update on Board Membership and updated' Board Membership List Terri said that she hasn't heard from Bonnie.. We haven't decided who the City Council member will be. The Council has appointed an alternate: We need a resident and a City Council liaison. ` .Director's. Update Frank said that Chuck Schloz is going to retire on January 25th. He has been with us for 7.5 years. We were lucky to have him come out of retirement and work for us. He was the Chief Operating Office in Denver for 13 years.
