He feels the city is behind in the Green
Building Code and asked the Board to take into consideration the adoption of the
new Green Codes. He is also interested in the Boards take on the Historic
Preservation of the city and urged the Board to be proactive when it came to the
Green Code and Historic Preservation.
Mike Jones followed up by adding the board is more of an advisory board and
will be covering the changes and will look into adopting either all or parts of the
new codes depending on the compatibility with what will and won’t work for the
city.
Robert Van Pelt added the city was one of the first municipalities to adopt the
2009 code changes.
City of Louisville
Building Division 749 Main Street
Louisville CO 80027
303.335.4584 (phone) 303.335.4588 (fax) www. louisvilleco.gov
