RESOLUTION NO. 7 <br /> SERIES 2012 <br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE IS AND IT HEREBY IS AUTHORIZED AND EMPOWERED TO <br /> TAKE ALL.ACTION NECESSARY OR APPROPRIATE TO ACCEPT A <br /> CERTAIN GRANT <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council supports the partnership with federal agencies for <br /> the thoughtful planning and economic development of cities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the United States Department of Agriculture has a grant program <br /> that can provide funds for a feasibility study to benefit the City of Louisville; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. The City Council is hereby authorized and empowered to take all <br /> actions necessary or appropriate to: <br /> 1. Obtain for and on behalf of the City of Louisville through the United States <br /> Department of Agriculture (USDA) or any other Governmental agency a <br /> grant in a sum not to exceed $19,000.00 to be advanced by the lender or <br /> grantor in one or more advances at such time or times as may be agreed <br /> upon. <br /> 2. Execute such application or applications (including exhibits, amendments <br /> and/or supplements thereto) as may be required. <br /> 3. Execute and delivery to the lender or grantor of all such written <br /> instruments as may be required in regard to or as evidence of such loan or <br /> grant. <br /> 4.
