Open Space Advisory Board <br />Agenda <br />Jan. 11, 2012 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> Staff is looking for places to mount two new motion-sensitive cameras, <br />and they hope to capture some images of wildlife to see what is <br />happening on Open Space. <br />a. Financial Summary of the Land Acquisition Fund <br /> The financial summary was provided in the Jan. 2012 meeting <br />packet. <br />VIII. Board Updates <br /> Justin reported that City Council had a special meeting last night in <br />which they set their 2012 goals. <br /> Two important goals that were mentioned were to pass the <br />o <br />Open Space Tax and increase trail connectivity. <br /> Mayor Muckle also mentioned that the City’s boards should <br />o <br />increase collaboration. <br />IX. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br /> Ann Hughes, 1405 Garfield Ct.- <br /> Ms. Hughes is on the Sustainability Board, but she is here <br />o <br />tonight speaking on her own behalf. <br /> She expressed her concern about OSAB, Council and Staff’s <br />o <br />failure to agree to discuss GMOs on open space properties. <br />X. 2012 Housekeeping <br />a. Approve Board Member Contact Information <br />b. Approve Designation of Places for Posting ‘Notice of Public <br /> Meetings’ <br /> The following locations will be approved for posting the ‘Notice of <br />Public Meetings’: City Hall, Library, Rec/Senior Center, Police <br />Dept./Court and the City Website (www.louisvilleco.gov) <br /> OSAB unanimously approved. <br />o <br /> OSAB unanimously approved continuation of meetings at 7pm on <br />the second Wednesday of each month. <br />c. Distribution of the 2012 Open Government & Ethics Pamphlet <br />d. Officer Elections <br /> Secretary – Alison Gorsevski <br /> Chair – Tom Davinroy <br /> Vice-Chair – Justin McClure <br />XI.
