RESOLUTION NO. 14 <br /> SERIES 2012 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INVESTMENT POLICY FOR THE CITY OF <br /> LOUISVILLE <br /> WHEREAS, the City has adopted fiscal policies, which include investment <br /> policies, that set guidelines for managing the financial affairs of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the fiscal policies may be added to or amended by Council <br /> Resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, recommended practices related to investment policies have <br /> changed since the City last adopted an investment policy; and <br /> WHEREAS, House Bill 12-1005 amends certain provisions in Title 24, <br /> Article 75, Part 6 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, which affect the investments <br /> the City can legally purchase; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to amend its investment policy to comply with <br /> current recommended standards and the revisions to CRS 24-75-601. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> SECTION 1. The investment policy as adopted by Resolution No. 5, Series 2007 <br /> is hereby rescinded. <br /> SECTION 2.
