The <br />following persons were present - <br />City Council Present: Mayor Robert Muckle <br />Councilor Hank Dalton <br />Councilor Jay Keany <br />Councilor Susan Loo <br />Councilor Ron Sackett <br />Councilor Frost Yarnell <br />Staff Present: Malcolm Fleming, City Manager <br />Heather Balser, Deputy City Manager <br />Troy Russ, Planning & Bldg. Safety Director <br />Joe Stevens, Parks and Recreation Director <br />Kathy Kron, Parks Project Manager <br />Polly Boyd, Executive Assistant <br />Others Present: John Barnholt, GreenPlay <br />Chris Dropinski, GreenPlay <br />Rob Layton, Design Concepts <br />Update /Discussion — Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails Comprehensive Master <br />Plan Draft Recommendations <br />The Parks and Recreation Department has been working with GreenPlay, LLC and Design <br />Concepts on a master plan that will be the guiding document for future planning for Parks, <br />Recreation, Open Space and Trails. The consulting firm's representatives, John Barnholt <br />and Chris Dropinski from GreenPlay, and Rob Layton from Design Concepts presented the <br />draft master plan recommendations to City Council. <br />The plan preparation started with a public process back in October of 2010. Meetings <br />occurred to enlist staff and citizen input, a survey was conducted and a complete inventory <br />and analysis performed.
