Wear your red YAB t-shirt.
St. Patty’s Day Dinner-March
Dinner for senior citizens, with step-dancers, bag pipers etc... for a St. Patricks
Day theme.
VII.Dear Louisville
Megan: We got in about 100 postcards.
Brooke: I talked to the Centennial Printing business about price estimates and
the woman is going to call me back within the next week.
Megan: When I talked to Kinko’s, they said it was going to be pretty expensive at
69 cents per page for a color print with 4 postcards on each. So it would be 69
cents per page and then about $4 for the binding.
Mandy: For cost savings, we could do7 cents of color copy at the Rec Center but
I’m wondering if they could cut it down at the printing company.
Daisy: How can we advertise or market this, and how can we make sure we
make a profit with the number of copies we get to sell?
Eliza/Megan: Wecould do some sort of pre-ordering system where they would
put their email in somewhere or just get a few hard copies for show that would
later entice people to buy one for themselves.
Daisy: We could include an order disclosure on posters around Louisville.
Megan/Mandy: We could also set it up online through the Rec Center with a
registration code like what we use to sign-up online for sports.
Joi: What about order forms at tables?
Kriska: Maybe at the library or the lobby of the Rec Center on a busy weekend.
Mandy: Let’s have someone really commit to going in for an article or press
release about the book for the Hometown newspaper.
Eliza: We could invite her to talk to us all as a group at our March meeting.
Mandy is sending Kim Turner’s information to Joi.
