Clark Companies in May 2011 to complete an analysis of its housing <br />portfolio. <br />• This report represents the initial findings and recommendations. <br />• LHA. currently owns 116 units located in 7 different ro erties throughout p p ughout L ©uisville. Such <br />are conveniently organized into categories as follows: <br />-• Affordable Multi- Family Housing: Properties owned by the Authority and operated without specific <br />rent restrictions or tenant qualifications except for Regal Square which has HUD HAP rent subsidies <br />for which tenants must qualify. <br />-- Low Income Housing Tax Credit, or LIHTC: Restricted by tax credit land use regulatory agreement <br />(LURA) and partnership agreement made with the tax credit investors. LURA restrictions run for <br />multiple decades; partnership agreement runs throughl5 -year tax credit compliance period. <br />— HUD Public Housing: Public housing receives both operating subsidy and capital grant funding <br />directly from HUD. Tenants must income qualified and typically pay very low or no rent. <br />1 <br />
