<br />Item VII – WGP update – <br />Year end 2011 financial results – Eric Jensen reviewed the Coal <br />Creek’s financials with the board in detail. <br />Action items from City Council meeting of 2/7/2012 – <br />i.Vision for Coal Creek –WGP – Various ideas were <br />discussed by all. Sandy Stewart recommended that WGP <br />keep the vision statement simple. Sandy will work with Eric <br />on the statement. <br />ii.Marketing Plan for Coal Creek – WGP – Eric informed the <br />board that the marketing plan will be provided at the March <br />meeting. He also made it clear that what will be presented in <br />the plan is WGP’s marketing and advertising plan for the golf <br />course. <br />iii.Maintenance Plan – WGP - WGP’s maintenance plan will <br />also be provided at the March meeting. <br />Item VIII –Staff Update – <br />Coal Creek Golf Course Improvement Plan, Tree Removal in Phase I- <br />Chris Lichty- <br /> Chris Lichty was very thorough as he discussed the tree removal in <br />o <br />Phase 1 with the board. He followed Kevin Norby’s plan but said <br />he had paired it down by 20 - 30 percent and stated that there are <br />definitely some trees on the golf course that need to be removed. <br />147 trees have been identified to be removed. <br /> Joe Stevens stated that Opening Bids for the tree removal will go <br />o <br />out at the end of the month. <br /> The Golf Course tree removal plan, created by Chris Lichty, will be <br />o <br />on the City website. <br />Item IX – ALL: Draft Questions for the Louisville Citizen Survey - <br /> The board agreed to one question for the survey. Do you value the golf <br />course as a community asset? <br />Item X – Board Updates – <br />Best of Breed action plan – Sandy is working diligently on the Best of <br />Breed analysis.
