All in favor. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1347, SERIES 2000 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE <br />PAYMENT OF CITY MONEYS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF A PARCEL OF <br />REAL ESTATE IN DOWNTOWN LOUISVILLE - 1st reading - set public hearing <br />10/17/00 <br /> <br />Davidson called for Attorney introduction. <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light read Ordinance No. 1347, Series 2000. <br /> <br />MOTION: Sisk moved that Council set Ordinance No. 1347, Series 2000, out for <br />publication and set a public hearing for October 17, 2000, seconded by Keany. <br />All in favor. <br /> <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Attorney Sam Light reported on an update of a litigation report that would be <br />distributed to the Mayor and Council at a later date. <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Administrator Simmons reported on the PSCo Special Review Use permit to <br />upgrade the transmission line. He stated that discussions continue with PSCo on the type <br />of poles to be located within the existing right-of-way, and on rerouting the line. <br />Simmons reminded Council of the Tuesday, October 10, 2000 budget work session at the <br />Louisville Public Library, which will begin at 12:30 p.m., and adjourn at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Mayer reported on the last Recycling Authority Meeting. He noted that there were no <br />objections to County Commissioner Ron Stewart's proposal for an Intergovernmental <br />Agreement to turn over the operations of the Authority to the County. Mayer stated that <br />he directed the County Attorney to draft an IGA, which would be forwarded to member <br />cities. <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br /> <br />
