Posted in City Hall, the Library, the <br />Recreation Center,the Police and Court Building and mailedto surrounding property <br />owners on September 23,2011. <br />Conflict of Interest and Disclosure: <br />None heard. <br />Staff Report of Facts and Issues: <br />McMillan provided the staff summary using a power point presentation with the <br />following information: <br />Original approval for 50,000 SF storage facility in six (6) buildings with <br />approximately 300 storage units and 1,640 SF of office space. <br />Review of current site plan <br />Area is considered transition from urban to rural. Numerous pictures were <br />used to illustrate the transition. <br />Commission Questions of Staff: <br />Loo asked what other property owners would need to do regarding the change. <br />McMillan stated the other owners are the City of Louisville and the Glass company. <br />Sheets asked who requested the change. <br />McMillan stated the request is from staff and came about during the drafting of the <br />subdivision agreement. <br />Sheets asked if there is a cost benefit to the change and was it a factor. <br />McMillan stated he did not know the cost factor but the requested change is being <br />done for the rural character. <br />Lipton asked what other developments will have access through this same road. <br /> <br />
