Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 17, 2011 <br />Page 4of 8 <br />Staff recommendsthe followingchanges be made to the vision clearance <br />requirements in the LMC: <br />1.Change the boundary used to measure vision clearance from the property line <br />to the roadway. <br />2.Introduce alleyway vision clearance areas in Old Town. <br />3.Introduce vision clearance areas at the intersection of multi use paths and <br />streets. <br />Commission Questions of Staff: <br />Lipton asked how the original definitions were used. <br />Russ stated the roadway was only looked at. <br />Lipton asked if there had been any PUD amendments. <br />Russ stated no PUD amendments had been done. <br />Russell discussed his concern regarding site triangle with Russ. He also asked if <br />there is no curb does this requirement still apply. <br />Russ stated the only place with no curbs is Empire Rd. <br />Public Comment: <br />None heard. <br />Summary Comments and Request from Staff: <br />None heard. <br />Closed Public Hearing –Planning Commission Discussion: <br />Lipton asked for Commission discussion.
