Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 17, 2011 <br />Page 8of 8 <br />Russ stated he would discuss with Public Works and give an update at the December <br />meeting. <br />Russell and Sheets stated they had seen and heard some positive economic forecast <br />from realtors. <br />Staff Comments <br />Summarize the CC and PC study sessions. <br />2012 Meeting Dates <br />December 13, 2011 City Council and Planning Commission study <br />session for a discussion of the Comprehensive Plan update scheduled <br />for 2012. <br />Two (2) new Planning Commission members at the January meeting. <br />The HWY 42 walking tour had about 45 people participate. <br />Russ reviewed the above staff comments. <br />The following items are scheduled for December 8, 2011 <br />tentatively <br />Parks, Recreation, Open Space& Trails (P.R.O.S.T) Master Plan. <br />The PROST Master Plan is a comprehensive document to guide the <br />City of Louisville Parks and Recreation Department in the maintenance, <br />improvement, development and prioritization of resources related to <br />parks, recreation, open space, trails, facilities and programming. <br />Applicant: City of Louisville <br />Representative: Kathy Kron, Parks and Recreation Department, Project Manager <br />Case Manager: Sean McCartney, Principal Planner <br />Steel Ranch South (Takoda, Plan Area 4), <br />apreliminary subdivision plat <br />and preliminary planned unit development for an approximate 17 acre parcel <br />of the Takoda Subdivision with the intent to develop the property with a <br />maximum of 306 residential units (220 –240 apartments and 60 –70 <br />townhomes orduplexes). <br />Applicant: <br />Owner: <br />Representative: <br />Case Manager: Sean McCartney, Principal Planner <br />North End Subdivision –Phase 2, <br />A final planned unit development <br />(PUD), and a final subdivision plat for the North End Subdivision –Phase 2 <br />development which will include 115 residential units, 65,000 SF of commercial <br />development and Hecla Reservoir improvements. <br />Applicant: <br />Owner: <br />Representative: <br />Case Manager: Sean McCartney, Principal Planner <br />th <br />Russ reviewed the agenda for the December 8meeting withthe addition of the <br />continued item regarding the LMC amendments regarding the Fair Housing Act. <br />Adjourn <br />Brauneis moved and Pritchardseconded a motion to adjourn the meeting. Lipton <br />adjourned the meetingat 7:25pm. <br />
