Planning Commission Meeting Minutes February 23, 2012 Page 11 of 12 Brauneis stated the project has the perception of being under parked. He asked how they anticipate operating or managing the parking structure. Loftus stated there will a simple key gate access. Pritchard asked if the spaces would be assigned. Loftus stated that has not been determined. Brauneis asked if it is possible to make the parking all three (3) stories. Loftus stated it would be possible but not economical. The cost of the parking structure demands the density. Lipton stated the Commission is past their normal adjournment time. He recommends th asking the applicant if they are available for a continuance to the March 8 meeting. He stated a continuance would then allow the Commissioners: to ask any last questions; close the public hearing; commission comments and discussion and then provide staff and applicant a recommendation. stth Pritchard asked if this would be the 1 agenda item on the 8. Lipton stated we could discuss the order of the agenda with staff. th O’Connell stated she would not be able to attend the March 8 meeting. th Pritchard asked if other commissioners would not be available for the March 8 meeting. All others indicated they would be able to attend. Lipton stated there were some housekeeping items to take care of. Lipton moved and Pritchard seconded a motion to enter into public record the various items submitted during public comment. Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. Lipton moved and Tengler seconded a motion to continue the discussion to the March 8, 2012 Planning Commission meeting. Russell asked if the Commissioners could work on the discussion for another 30 minutes in order to complete the review process. After a discussion, Lipton called for a vote on the motion to continue the hearing to the March 8, 2012 meeting. Motion passed by unanimous voice vote. Planning Commission Comments: None heard. Staff Comments: Staff had no additional comments. The following items are scheduled for March 8, 2012. tentatively Parbois Place Subdivision – Amendment – Whittier – The application is for two requests: i. A minor subdivision to create two (2) lots of record where there is currently one (1) lot at 533 County Road. Lot 7 will be 8,496 SF and Lot will be 6,126 SF.
