The sticky notes were then organized by topic and discussion ensued. The <br />following is a summary of the core values listed and the ensuing discussion. <br />WE VALUE… <br />Small Town Atmosphere <br />Community feel <br />Maintaining the small town feel as growth continues <br />Clear policies on the kind of growth desired <br />Family Friendly <br />Family oriented community <br />Opportunities for family fun, both provided by the City and by private parties <br />Active parks for families to visit <br />Pragmatic Government <br />Government setting, practical, realistic, achievable goals and policies <br />Business friendly, with no more interference than necessary <br />Easy access to City officials and employees, help answering questions and solving <br />problems <br />Marketing Louisville as a place to be and a place to build <br />Prime Location for Work and Recreation <br />Balancing the needs of the citizens with those of the business community <br />Inducing the business community to enhance the recreation options for residents and <br />visitors <br />City Facilities <br />Adequate facilities for recreation, such as the rec center and golf course <br />Adequate facilities for other uses, such as meeting rooms <br /> <br />
