This letter is to acknowledge that you have initially engaged our firm to provide legal counsel and advice regarding an agreement to transfer all Louisville Housing Authority properties to the Boulder County Housing Authority and related issues. Our fees for such representation are billed hourly in accordance with the rates shown on the attached fee schedule. Per your request, we have discounted the rate of our Senior Associate, Amber Hunter, who will be performing much of this work. This rate schedule may be changed with prior written notice to you. Most out-of-pocket costs and expenses necessarily incurred in providing our legal representation will also be billed to you. Such costs and expenses will include photocopies, fax charges, long distance telephone charges, postage and overnight delivery charges, mileage and travel expenses, and court filing fees, if required. We will provide you with a monthly written statement of the fees and costs incurred each month. The statement will contain detailed narratives of our work and a list of expenses. Payment of each statement in full is to be made no later than thirty (30) days of receipt. A one and one-half percent per month penalty may be assessed should any statement not be paid within thirty (30) days of receipt. Either you or our firm may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice to the other. You will be obligated to pay for work and expenses incurred up to the date of such termination.
